What allergens and diets can it check?
14+ allergens with customizable controls — toggle restrictions like Lupin, Mustard, Sulphites, Peanuts, or Milk — plus diets such as Vegan, Vegetarian, and Gluten-Free, and custom nutritional limits and blocked ingredients.
Does Skannist track me or require an account?
No. There are no user accounts, no trackers, and no analytics. Your scan history, favorites, and preferences stay in your device's local storage. Barcode lookups in online mode go to the Open Food Facts API over HTTPS.
Where does the nutritional data come from?
